About Me

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State. I offer sessions in person, at my office in Midtown, and online. Before beginning my clinical practice, I trained as a social worker at New York University and completed an internship at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I am currently a member of Therabridge, a psychoanalytic group practice in Manhattan.

I have experience working with individuals seeking treatment for many different reasons, including, but not limited to: questions regarding gender, sex, and sexuality; obsessional thoughts and behaviors; existential anxieties; trouble with emotional regulation or impulsivity; addictions; challenges in relationships; the effects of traumatic experiences; bodily and physical symptoms; and issues concerning identity, self-esteem, and desire.

I practice within the Lacanian Orientation, a field of contemporary psychoanalytic practice and research organized around the work of Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, and Jacques-Alain Miller. I am affiliated with the Lacanian Compass, an associated group of the New Lacanian School.

In addition to my M.S.W, I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University. My bachelor’s and master’s research focused on discourses of mental health, theories of subject formation, and the psychical consequences of new media technologies.
